Project Goal

Our customer works in content publishing industry and is looking for a simple solution that enable them to publish content quickly using a headless CMS solution from Sanity.io. This project is a successful proof of concept project that built up a publishing core system based on Sanity.io that allows new content publishing sites are created very quickly if only slightly UI changes are needed.

Project Description

Using headless CMS Sanity.io, Auth0, Mux and PHP Laravel framework, we have created a core content publishing system that allow our customer quickly publishing their content with many more advanced features such as:

– User registration, profile editing, authentication & authorization

– Home page content with mixed between editor choices and automatic teaser flow, infinite content loading

– Category page with infinite content loading, content detail popup so that visitor never need to leave the newsflow.

– Content detail page/pop up that support images, slideshows, videos, comments, social sharing, premium content authorization

– Search page, subscription page, contact page.

– Customized Sanity.io content block to allow insert raw HTML into a post.

In less than four weeks, with above combination of systems/solutions, we created a brand new responsive web site UI from scratch and our customer had a cloud hosted platform for managing and publishing content with advanced features that really helps them to boost up their new business quickly.

Cloud based hosted headless CMS solution with GraphQL style API from Sanity.io is the core of our platform. Auth0 is a reliable source of identity management, Mux for video streaming and our PHP Laravel app acted as a presentation layer with some level of object caching to further increase response speed.
